I just update my essentials software then one week later the hard drive failed, as well as, my backups is there a way to have the already updated main repeater send back to the new program on the new computer?

Dave,
Today, there is no way to extract the program from the repeater. This will be in a future software update, but no date has been attached to this....

I spoke with one of the engineers at Lutron at CEDIA and he said "Hold your breath" for being able to extract files. Which seems to indicate that it is coming soon.
I always recommend to my training classes that you create a free email account and email yourself copies of the customers files. Easy way for a free backup that you can access anywhere.
I'll keep you posted on what I hear about being able to extract.
