Hi,
I'm a homeowner, not an installer. I was hoping for some feedback regarding the completion of our installation.
Long story, short: new home purchase, Lutron RadioRA2 installed and programmed for show home purposes ie, excessive. I can work around the problem a bit using the app, however cannot make the scene changes that we require for our keypads. Furthermore, the temporary stickers on the keypads are peeling off. Some are even blank. We were told to live with it over the Christmas holidays and see how we would like to alter it to our tastes. Then installer/electrician would return to finalize and get keypads engraved. Homebuilder turns out to be giant head case with a history of fraud and forgery and numerous other poor dealings to say the least. The trades that have stuck by him are few, but one of them is the guy that installed our Lutron system.
From what I understand because our system is an older unit (or has older software?, installed in mid 2012 at the latest) a re-install would be even more time consuming and thus expensive than if the details of our system were easily downloadable. Contacted Lutron and they had their local rep try and break the impasse but he had no luck.
Any ideas?
Thanks very much Matteo

Unfortunately, if the original installer does not leave a copy of the program (or is unwilling to provide), then a reprogram is in order. Talk with your local rep, he should be aware of the better programmers in your area. Lutron teaches us to teach the installers/programmers to leave a copy on CD or thumb drive at the job as the original "homeowner" has paid for the information.
