Returning hardware to factory setting

Would it be possible through some sort of deactivation process to return devices to the factory setting from within the software, so you wouldn't have to walk around triple tapping?

With many devices setup as temporary it can be quite cumbersome to return everything to factory settings.

Not something I would consider high on the priority list, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

Agreed... and this would be particularly helpful with shading applications. You could then leave the ladders and gloves at the shop and the flaps/covers on.
