Free, earlier version app, works fine. Android App works. New paid-for iPad app will not work with either my home system or my new RA2 Demo Case. iOS on iPad is updated to the very latest; Main Repeater OS on both home and demo case updated to 4.2.10 I have tried the router inside the demo case plus an outboard wireless router, then tried with a second demo case from our local rep. Still no connectivity with, now, three Main Repeaters. All my attempts to resolve issue with Lutron so far fruitless. Anyone else having new iPad version connectivity issues?

Did you first go into integration settings on your essentials / inclusive software, and set up a user and password?
That should be your first step. I have been running the iphone/ipad app for about two months now, and no real problems here. The iphone app once and a wile will not boot properly, but usually works fine.

I actually have eight users setup on my demo case file, perhaps I should delete six of them to see if I have found a "glass ceiling" in TelNet Users

I've officially heard that 10 users was max. I've only had two simultaneously though running.

Does the app crash? Does it hang up while "checking for reachability?"

My experience has only been with iphone and pods but i did have two probs that might help.
1st. network guy had a Netgear that was working laptops fine but iphone/pod couldn't see it. After much digging in the system he swapped it with a Linksys and prob solved.
2nd. All was working when i left the job but couldn't connect when I came back to job. No network changes occurred. Finally got smart and turned off my ipod,. when it came back on all was great.

Hey all. Thought I'd post an update. After speaking with Lutron folks it was suggested I uninstall the iPad App completely and reinstall it. Following the suggestion I reloaded it and created a new account with the same credentials and all is good, it works great! Thanks for all your thoughts and suggestions.

I occasionally lose the level editor on Ipad app. Not sure why? I usually can get it to show up with a PC program transfer but it is a little concearning.

I can't believe what a pain in the ass it is to set up a VPN . . .

For some reason I'm not seeing the main repeater even though the device is on the same network. Going to http://ip in the Web browser pulls up a login window but nothing happens once I attempt to login with one of the logins I set-up in the software. Any ideas here? Thanks!

I'm not an IP guy at all, so I'll start there. I've had the same problem with some wireless routers. Interestingly enough the are times that being too close to my netgear keeps my iPad from seeing the repeater. Also, did you set the IP address for the main repeater by using the router as an Ethernet switch? That allows the router to select the IP address within it's range for the main repeater.

Thanks for the note, Bailey. I am an IP guy, so maybe we can figure this out together :-D. Anyway, this system has four wireless access points and a controlled network by SonicWALL. The coverage is good and everything is routed through to the wired network. Do you know what protocol is supposed to be used to auto-find the repeater? Usually something called mDNS (Bonjour by Apple) is used for this purpose, and at least on this end I've verified that mDNS is going through. Nonetheless, even applying the IP in the manual screen does not work here. Everything should be set-up just fine in the repeater with the telnet logins added. Is there a guide for manual set-up of iOS devices? What I've been able to find on Resi seems to omit this, though it should be pretty intuitive.

Well, I just updated the firmware (already was on the same firmware) but that seemed to fix it.
