The iPhone and iPad app have fields to change the HTTP and Telnet port #, but there is no place to change the port # in the RA2 programming software.
We'd like to use a different port than port 80 because this port is restricted on this network (long story). How can we change this HTTP port that is used for the XML transfer within the programming software?

I know this is an old thread, but I'll reply anyway. :-)
In general it's good practice to allow for port customization, but for a "closed box" system like the Main Repeater where it's more of an appliance, not sure you really need to.
Obviously you've come across a technical hurdle, care to provide more details? The port number doesn't have to be unique across the LAN; in fact many devices open the same ports on the same LAN. The key is that the tuple (IP address, port) is unique.
I'm assuming you're trying to work around a router's port forwarding limitation because it assumes the incoming port always matches the destination port? If so, it's very common to forward incoming traffic on (WAN IP, port X) to (LAN IP, port Y) - you'd just need a router that offers this flexibility; several consumer grade routers provide this.
Hope this helps.

I've wondered this as well. Indeed I've tried to change the port in the iPhone software but realized there was nowhere to change it in the repeater.
