Has anyone had long term success integrating iPad or iPhone with the Apple Router? Apple uses 10.0.0.1 instead of 192.168.x.x that I'm used to seeing on most routers. I finally got it all working, and then the connection became intermittent. I could sometimes connect to the system, and download config, sometimes it just said "Could not connect to system, please contact system admin" ( or something close to that). Resetting the repeater and router got us back to good, but again after a while, things just didn't want to connect when I launched the app.

I've been using an airport extreme at home for a long time with no problems. You can change the IP addresses so that they are in the 192.168.x.x range if you like that look better. I use 192.168.0.x for example.

Thanks for your reply, I feel better now that I know there's some success out there. I wonder if there's additional firewalls etc on this router, I'll bet it's like any other router though.
As a secondary comment, the devices that I was having connection issues were also connected to a 3G network as well as the local wireless Apple Network. This is the only time I've done 3G devices, usually it's just Wifi iPads.
Hmmmm, I'll see how the system is running..

Shop, did you have issues with the app not seeing the repeater on the 192.168.0.xxx? My app didn't see my repeater set to 192.168.0.201, but has no problem connecting if I enter manually.

I always put a DHCP reservation for network devices that I want to be static. So my main repeater has a DHCP reservation in my airport extreme. When I run the Lutron app on my iPhone connected to my local WiFi, it is able to find my main repeater successfully.
