If I sub out a couple shades to a local L2/PSP shade specialist, will I lose control of the programming on that job?

I personally can't justify the additional L2 training.

The only time you should have difficulty is if the job exceeds the 100 devices. You can still program the shades from the L1 software. You need the shade certified L2 for specifiying, ordering, and installing the shades. This would be similar to "mentoring" when becoming shade certified yourself. If the total device number exceeds the L1 cert, then you should be able to work something out with the PSP.
