I know I read somewhere recently that an upgrade was coming December 2012 allowing RA2 iPhone Lutron Home+ App to access system 3G/4G when now can only access on your local network unless you buy a VPN Router that supports PPTP (Point to Point Tunnel Protocol). I have been able to access my Zodiac iAqualink Pool Controls and see my security cameras and several days recorded history both LAN/WAN/3G/4G from the outset. Lutron documentation simply said need a VPN Router to connect 3G. Well they forgot to mention don't buy just any good VPN router, you must buy a VPN Router that supports PPTP. Well I bought NetGear FSV318v3 VPN and struggled for hours before I found out it did not support PPTP so I paid a network guy that I know $100 last month to configure my Routers NetGear WNR1000v2 (Wireless ) and FSV318v3 (VPN) with the Dynamic DNS I set up already. Works great and can access my lights anywhere I have 3G/4G service (not just my LAN) but I am concerned about security. I think I read about the Lutron Home+ App update coming so I can change the configuration on my routers making them more secure. I may be dreaming but let me know if it is here or coming. If here I should have an app update. I'm running V 4.1.0.

The current ETA is mid January for 6.0. This coincides with the fan speed controller becoming available.

That sounds great. Thanks. I just remembered I saw the info on Lutron Radio RA2 US Products page. It is showing February 2013 now. I understand release dates of software having to be pushed back for thorough testing plus ensure they have as sound and reliable code as possible. Looking forward to it although I'm working perfectly fine with fairly secure tunnel in my firewall.
