Hi Mitche -
I'd be happy to help if I can. What kind of assistance are you looking for? For example, are you experiencing issues implementing the RA2 Integration Modules we offer for Control4?

Thanks Ty No Issues yet. There is no system installed. House is in rough stage now. I'm working with a customer that is fairly set on Control 4 for everyrthing. Had a two hour meeting with him to talk about having us wire for all control4 (lighting,A/V,Cams,Ect), then have a local C4 guy come in and install rack equip and everything but for the lighting. We would install C4 lighting. Apparently he has a rough quote for the new panelized C4 system but has very little specs on it and there is little info on the web for the new system. So as we talked and walked for 2 hours I asked questions about C4 and related it to Ra2 (No hybrid for C4, 1 module each for (3) roll up doors). At the end he asked for a Ra bid. Knowing very little about C4 I'm just asking for any experience with it and Ra2. Don't expect any Ra2 issues just not sure about the integration.

Mitche- I've done a C4 with an integrator. All they need is the integration file and it works like a champ. Use the phantom buttons on the main for your house scenes and the C4 works seamless. If he has to write code for every dimmer or switch in the scene from C4, there may be delay or popcorn effects that show up as network traffic slows down the C4 commands to Ra2.

Bailey So are you saying program like normal all the KP's but throw all the buttons they want integrated on phantom? Are you saying the phantoms are quicker to respond then the kp integration or phantoms are quicker if control4 guy makes his own C4 scenes?

If he's activating a keypad button with the C4, no difference. If he tries to write his macro to affect every device directly, then there can be some lag depending on his network traffic. I used the phantoms to simplify the programming for what that particular customer wanted. Really depends on how your C4 guy wants it. Feel free to call me anytime if you need to.

I have done a Control4 system with lutron ra2. The lutron system falls off the Control4 system all the time and needs to be manually put back online. It seems Control4 just released an update which fixes this. Any thought?

I haven't had any problems with the lutron controller falling off the system.
