First job with 2 main repeaters and ran into networking issues. One main repeater located at each end of the house on different floors. Network previously installed and in some disrepair.
With laptop connected near main repeater #1, Inclusive software would see it but not main repeater #2. If I moved the laptop to a network jack on the far side of the house near main repeater #2 Inclusive software would see main repeater #2, but not main repeater #1.
I could ping both main repeaters from either location so after a bunch of digging around in a very large home I found a small 5-port switch that was connecting one section of the house to the main switch (not all network jacks were home runs).
The 5-port switch seems to be causing the problem. It's a Netgear ProSafe GS105E which is a small managed switch. I upgraded the firmware on the switch and checked the config and didn't see any VLAN or QoS setup (everything looked default).
I'm guessing the switch isn't passing a required protocol (maybe multicast?), is there a list of supported or unsupported network switching gear for RA2 or even any specific issues known with this Netgear ProSafe GS105E device?

There is no list of recommended gear due to the sheer number of routers and switches out there but, yes, you must enable multicast traffic across the VLANs in order to allow our systems to work with them.

There don't appear to be any VLANs configured, but for some reason these switches aren't passing the traffic. Planning to go back onsite this week with a different switch.
