I know there's so much potential to do more and wondered if Lutron is slowing down or has more exciting RA2 offerings to come. Thoughts?

That sounds good, but I hoped for more potential functionality

Take a look in the design tab when you add a new device to a new location. I'm sure the announcement is coming soon (CEDIA?), but two new devices- a "wall box power module" similar to HomeWorks and a SoftSwitch relay module. If you design systems with hidden or remote dimmers, the WPM should be of particular interest.

These sound nice! It would be great if the WPM, which just sounds like a remote receptacle, could be embedded in a standard weather resistant enclosure in an environment where ambient temperature could reach below freezing. People want to automate Christmas lights!
Would one have the remote relay basically be able to switch a circuit leg by adding it in the wall?

BTW, I wonder if the WPM will use the same dimming connector it offers for the dimmable receptacle. I've used these to dim lamps before in Spacer System IR systems. Fun way to stay in compliance with the NEC and externally dim

WPM is essentially a faceless Graphic Eye. Same load types and requirements, list $840.00 for 6 Zones of neutral wire forward phase dimming or switching.

Interesting. Do you have a part number, or will that come with official announcement?
It seems like this product would be a good one for landscape lighting where one might put in a set of loads from a central source that wouldn't need direct control from the load area. Instead, one could use timer events, security events, and perhaps a keypad by the door to control the scenes.

I don't recall the part number, it does populate from the design tab in 6.2. I'll try to get it.

No worries. I was in 6.2 and didn't see them when I hit the + to add a device. Would you mind letting me know what header it's under? Sorry for not being able to figure it out!

It's right under the plug in devices just above the standard keypad selections. Next to it will be the new SoftSwitch relay.

Wow, it's not in 6.2 Essentials. I sure hope this isn't an inclusive only deal. I wouldn't mind taking the L2 training, but I can't spare 2 days to head to PA... I'd love to do it online (know that won't happen anytime soon)!

It is inclusive only but Level 2 class is not just held in Coopersburg. There are classes remaining in Irvine, CA; Plantation, FL; Houston, TX; Vancouver, BC; Oakland, CA; and I am conducting one in Seattle this upcoming week.

Also, stay tuned to CEDIA. There some other exciting new products that will be available with RA2 in the near future. Anyone going to the show?

Yeah, I've seen the other locations, but all the other ones still require a bunch of travel from Indianapolis. I've been to CEDIA a few times, but I'm not going to this one. I'll be watching though. I wonder why the relay wouldn't be accessible in L1...which is troubling.
