Hey guys,
Im just curious about something.
When i used to program homeworks i would always keep everything where it physically was in the home also in the program. For example:
10 rooms 30 loads all dimmers remote mounted in a mech room.
I would program the dimmers in the design exactly as they appeared on site with all the dimmers in the mech room in the exact same ganging structure as was physically installed on site. I would then assign the load to the room that it was supposed to be in and when you programmed, the load was in the room. I did this so that you could identify things properly, the program could derate properly, and your materials count including plates was accurate. I would always add receptacles etc. to include in the Bill of Materials as well.
Same scenario with a dual repeater Ra2 system, except when you go to the programming screen to start programming buttons, everything is in the mech room and its pretty jumbled up and hard to wade through. Am i missing something here, this has been an issue for years since back when they added the assignment function tot he design screen, and its kind of a pain.
Any thoughts??
