You can manually set the IP address of the Main Repeater by going to the Main Repeater on the Design screen and clicking on the Find Main Repeater button. A window will pop up and allow you to change from DHCP to static and then set an IP address. Are you looking for something different? Perhaps I do not understand your question fully.

I'm talking about allowing the software to locate and program a repeater remotely by designating the ip address in the software.
Currently the repeater must be located via udp and what you reference only allows you to set the ip address of the repeated itself, not locate and program the repeater.

I can't believe remote programming isn't available yet.
Major MAJOR fail on Lutrons part.

Remote programming is available to PSP/L2 level programmers on the 5.0.10 software.

I am able to see the main repeater when connecting to a remote site using vpn, even shows the correct static ip address but only shows as 'offline' and can not program remotely using 5.6.6. Does anyone know if this a Lutron limitation or a router/vpn setting issue? Appreciate any help. Lutron simply states it's not supported but should work

Hahaha $60. Riiiiiiight Lutron.
We were told at CEDIA it would be "a buck or so a month"...oh wait, we were also told November 2012.
You're going to have a lot of pushback on this. I hope you have a patent so you can stop everyone else from doing port redirecting and managed dns.
I just bought a nannycam, and it provides access outside your house for free. The nanny cam was a about 2% of the cost of my ra2 system.
Customers hate control4 for holding features hostage based on annual $$. Now they will hate you too..
I guess now that several other companies are quite successful at selling lighting control, Lutron needs another revenue source to pay for that campus in a cornfield.
