The new app is $19 for the iPad AND the iPhone.
IMHO this should not be happening.
The app should be universal at one price

The 19.95 covers all iDevices associated with the users iTunes account. I loaded my iPhone,iTouch and iPad for the same charge.
Honestly if someone were just to want the iPhone app I would suggest the free one, as far as I can tell no difference. The app note says there are some minor bug fixes, but I have not seen any difference other then color.

Yup, you are correct. I missed the "already purchased" popup (or absent mindedly clicked it) when I downloaded in my iphone.

In response to Jimm Reifsnyder's observations there are indeed many enhancements with the new "paid" app for the iPad. Number one it is formatted for iPad! Personally I cannot comment on the new app's look & feel on other iDevices. The "paid" app now offers an end user the ability to alter scenes created by the installing dealer allowing changing level, ramp rate and adding a delay to any individual loads activation time after the scene starts! RA2 System owners can create time clock events without Essentials or Inclusive software. Your Main Repeater DOES need to be updated with the "latest" firmware update to exploit the new features. After the firmware upgrade take a peek at the "Green" function! Supports RA2's pending thermostat release as well; free version currently does not!

This is one of the coolest apps I have seen. I feel it will be a huge asset to selling RR2. Great job guys  |

The paid iPhone app has been updated in version 3.0 to include many of the features that were introduced in the iPad application including level editor, timeclock, thermostat, etc.
